"MEALS ON WHEELS"

SAAA’s “Meals on Wheels” program provides homebound seniors a nutritious hot meal delivered to their home.  Five meals per week are provided.  Hot meals are delivered four days per week, along with a fifth frozen meal.

Meals are delivered Monday through Thursday in Frederick and Page counties and the City of Winchester; and Tuesday through Friday in Clarke, Shenandoah and Warren counties.

Clients are charged for “Meals on Wheels” on a sliding fee scale according to income.

  Eligibility Criteria
  • Home Delivered meals are available to seniors who are aged 60 and older and homebound.

  • You must be a resident of Planning District 7, which includes the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, Warren and the City of Winchester.
