VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES SAAA needs volunteers of all ages, talents, and interests! Employees with some time during lunch could help deliver meals to our homebound clients who would just love to meet them!! Mothers of school age children who might have some time while their children are in school might help teach a craft or serve a meal at their local senior center. Retirees who have some free time and would like to contribute to their community could drive someone to a doctor’s appointment or to grocery shop. We are especially interested in youth and teen volunteers since SAAA believes that nurturing the intergenerational connection between our older neighbors and our youth is one of the most important things we can do! Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization! They help in more ways than we can count and we are profoundly grateful to each and every one of them!! If you believe in helping your neighbor and supporting your community, please give us a call at 800-883-4122 or 540-635-7141. We’re looking forward to hearing from you! RSVP RSVP, Retired Seniors Volunteer Program, is a nationwide program that promotes volunteerism by encouraging everyone to contribute time and talents in service to their communities.
