Charitable Giving PDF Print E-mail

When it comes to charitable giving, Americans are the most generous people in the world. Citizens of all income levels respond generously and quickly when they're convinced of a true need. Initially, donors respond from their heart because of a desire to help others in need. Charitable giving is a gift - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. First and foremost, its a matter of the heart. The only motivation for giving should be the gracious gift itself.

As Winston Churchill said, "You make a living by what you make, you make a life by what you give."

WE NEED YOUR HELP! As residents of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, we must come together to help our most vulnerable population... our senior citizens.  This year, more than ever, we need your support to help provide basic needs to your senior neighbors.

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT YOUR SENIOR NEIGHBORS?

Sponsor a Senior Program

A program designed to meet the basic needs of our senior citizens. Your donation will provide meals, care, companionship and heat throughout the year.  $125 a month covers the costs for one hot meal each day for one frail isolated older adult.

$1500 provides meals and services for 1 senior for an entire year.
$750 provides meals and services for 1 senior for 6 months.
$500 provides meals and services for 1 senior for 4 months.
$125 provides meals and services for 1 senior for 1 month.
