Executive Director: Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging (SAAA)

SAAA provides a variety of services designed to help older residents of the northern Shenandoah Valley, and the Board of Directors is seeking an Executive Director who has the skills and ability to provide leadership and oversight to a staff of 60+ and a $3 million annual budget.  Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred), at least 7 years of experience in successful nonprofit management with excellent skills in written and oral communication, budget development and implementation, fundraising, and creating working partnerships with other organizations. Must have a working knowledge of federal and state programs, and successful track record of securing grants.  Working knowledge of Medicaid and private health insurance as well as the Older Americans Act is a plus.

Accounts Payable Technician

The Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging is seeking an experienced accounts payable technician to process accounts payable, cash receipts and general ledger applications.  Must have knowledge of accounting, computer applications and ability to use 10 key adding machine.  Must have high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience, Associates Degree in Accounting preferred.  PT position (25 hour per week, M-F).  $15.50/ hour.  Some benefits.  Applications can be downloaded at www.shenandoahaaa.com, under About Us. Part-Time Van Drivers
